The Santa Maria Novella station is 6 km away. Get to the Eden Rock Resort using the taxi or bus line n°25.
By air
The ‘Amerigo Vespucci’ Airport in Florence Peretola is 10 km away. Arrive at the Eden Rock Resort by taxi or with the shuttle service. The International ‘Galileo Galilei’ Airport in Pisa is 80 km from Florence. It is one hour away by car.
From 'Galileo Galilei' Airport in Pisa (80 km from Florence) you can reach Florence railway station (Santa Maria Novella) by a non-stop train which leaves every 2 hours (50 minute journey) or by Terra Vision bus (1h 30 minute journey). Alternatively, from Florence railway station you can take a taxi or reach St Mark Square (Piazza S. Marco) where you can find the bus service (nr. 25)
By bus
From downtown Florence, the Eden Rock Resort can be reached by bus 25 or 25A departing Piazza San Marco every twenty minutes. The destination bus stop is "Bolognese Nuova 5".
By car
Coming from northern Italy on the highways A1, A11, exit Firenze-Nord or Firenze-Ovest (West). Follow the indications for the ring roads (vialli di circonvallazione) und Fortezza da Basso. Drive further Fortezza da Basso in the direction Piazza della Libertá. At Piazza della Libertá turn left in the direction Bologna, taking via Bolognese. Drive along via Bolognese for about 4 km. Eden Rock Resort is located on the left of the road.
Coming from southern Italy on the highway A1, exit Firenze-Sud (South). Follow the indications of the ring roads (viali di circonvallazione) and Fortezza da Basso-Aeroporto (Airport). Drive further in the direction Piazza della Liertá. At Piazza della Libertá turn right in the direction Bologna, taking via Bolognese. Drive along via Bolognese for about 4 km. Eden Rock Resort is located on the left of the road.
Piazza Duomo
Stop in Piazza del Duomo to admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, anticipating, with its Gothic Renaissance style, the enormous and spectacular cupola of Brunelleschi, an imposing work alongside the polychrome marble of the bell tower of Giotto; inside the cathedral, one of the largest religious cycles ever frescoed.
The museums of the center
Not far off, the Galleria degli Uffizi makes Florence a major art city, displaying the works artists such as Botticelli, Raffaello, Caravaggio, Giotto and a collection of works unique in the world. You may admire the extraordinary harmony of Michelangelo’s David, kept in the Galleria dell’Accademia, and the Tuscan sculptures of the Museo Nazionale del Bargello (National Museum of Bargello; for a great scenographic effect, however reserves a visit to the Museo Stibbert, a museum of nineteenth century living with costumes, objects, weapons and full-sized knights.
Ponte Vecchio and Oltrarno
Florence is the site of the characteristic Ponte Vecchio. This beautiful place overlooking the Arno River is characterized by the ancient workshops of clockmakers and jewelers. Passing the bridge, Palazzo Pitti houses the Modern Art Gallery and anticipates with its princely form the beautiful Giardino di Boboli.

Via Tornabuoni is the symbol of Florentine shopping, you will find every high fashion designer label and a welcoming and lively atmosphere, revived by the delightful pastries displayed in the bakeries in the area of Piazza Duomo: cantucci, pasta, and regional specialties will add to the pleasure of a little break in full relaxation.
In Fiesole
In the fascinating region of Fiesole, just 5 km from Eden Rock Resort, is found the side of a significant polo European cultural: located in the former convent next to Badia Fiesolana, the prestigious Università Europea is open to students already having a university and has the objective of bringing together the various cultures in Europe.
